Summary:
Performs thorough medical record review to abstract medical and diagnoses and procedures utilizing ICD and CPT coding classification systems and encoder to meet financial, third party and federal/state regulatory standards.

- Successful completion of college level Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, ICD/CPT coding courses or Associate Degree in HIM.
- Associates degree in HIM preferred.
Required Experience:
- HIM or Physician office experience preferred.
- RHIT or RHIA preferred.
